Step one: Keychain Access
- Search for Keychain Access and open it.
- Keychain Access Panel will open.
- Click Keychain Access menu from the header bar.
- Go to Certificate Assistant.
- Click on ‘Request a Certificate From a Certificate Authority…’
- Fill up the personal information.
- Check ‘Saved to Disk’
- Contunue.
- Save the certificate file
- Click ‘Done’.
Step 2: Apple Developer Account
- Go to Apple Developer Account.
- Go to Account page.
- Go to Certificates
- Click on the ‘+’ sign to add a new Certificate.
- Select ‘iOS Distribution (App Store Connect and Ad Hoc)’
- Continue.
- Upload a Certificate signing request file.
- Click Continue
- Download the Certificate.
- Go back to the ‘All Certificates’ page.
As we can see a new iOS. Distribution certificate on the certificate list.
- Go to the Profiles page.
- Click on the app which distribution certificate was expired or about to expire.
- Click ‘Edit’
- Select the newly created Distribution certificate from the certificate list.
- Save the changes.
As we can the distribution certificate has been replaced and the expiry date has been extended.
